Hi, I am Olivia. Agriculture and food have always been my passions. Food has been at the center of my life since I can remember. Growing up on a small hobby farm in Upstate New York, with both of my parents working in the agricultural industry, I was totally immersed. I was also actively involved in 4-H for as long as I could be.
Throughout the year, I had the privilege of caring for a small flock of Tunis and Suffolk sheep, a few dairy replacement heifers, and enjoying horseback riding. Springs were filled with lambing and shearing, while summers were dedicated to preparing for the NYS Fair and the Rensselaer County fair.
My love for agriculture led me to pursue a degree in Agricultural Business from Iowa State University, followed by an MBA from LSU. I work as an HR professional, but during evenings and weekends, you’ll often find me outdoors or in the kitchen
Food serves as my creative outlet, and it’s how I fuel my body for another one of my favorite activities—running. Here, expect to find fun, creative recipes along with insights into how your food was produced. Because regardless of who you are or your dietary preferences, WE ALL EAT!
